As an Elementary School Teacher, you have the responsibility to create classroom environments, design learning activities and materials, and inspire educational discovery. It is important that you appreciate student diversity and nurture each student as an individual. As a Teacher, it is required that you have knowledge of child development, teaching methods, classroom management, and conflict resolution. If you choose, you can specialize in areas such as reading, special education, technology, multilingual/multicultural education, mathematics, or science.
